in Rochester, MN. We market and distribute Skin Thimble™ products.

Our quality, usability and comfort guarantee is quite simple:

and functionality in the same price range as a comparable Skin Thimble™
let us know. If you have a defective Skin Thimble™ contact us.
We will work with you to resolve the problem. This resolution promise
applies to all Skin Thimbles™ independent of where the thimble
was purchased.”
All thimbles are sewn and packaged by Community Rehabilitation Organizations
in Red Wing, Minnesota and Rochester, Minnesota. These organizations
operate under the auspices of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which
has been amended and authorized through 2003. All Skin Thimbles™
are, “NAFTA Compliant™ ” and “U.S. Rehabilitation
Center Compliant™.”
Each thimble is packaged with one or more of the following features:
1. Soft supple deerskin
All thimbles are constructed from soft-supple deerskin that is extracted
from home grown USA deer. Your finger is completely surrounded by
lightweight (2.5 to 3 ounce) soft and supple deerskin, which flexes
with your finger as it moves. Deerskin is porous which allows air
to circulate. Think of deerskin as a layer of protective skin.
2. Slip proof elastic support system
Leather stretches when worn. Those who sew for long periods of time
experience finger-fatigue associated with stretched leather that slips.
Each thimble has an elastic no-slip support system to alleviate slippage
and finger-fatigue.
3. Prick proof needle shield™
Most of our thimbles contain a patented, “no slip support system
and a prick proof needle shield™.” The shield is placed
inside the thimble in a leather pocket. Your finger is protected by
two layers of leather and a “prick proof needle shield™.”
4. Finger tip gripper™
Some of our models contain a fingertip gripper. The Gripper™
is a must for tasks such as reading, counting money, separating plastic
sheets, pulling needles or stippling.
